App

A few years ago, a cover version of Skrewdriver went viral on You Tube, which cheekily turned all the White Power shit into the opposite: Negro Terror covered "The Voice of Memphis" (and shortly after that, another Skrewdriver song with "Invasion". The hardcore punk band led by Omar Higgins, who sadly passed away in 2019, quickly gained cult status worldwide and indie filmmaker John Rush even dedicated an award-winning documentary to the band! The "Voice of Memphis" EP on 7inch is probably one of the most sought-after underground singles and other tracks including "Rapist" by Combat84 were previously only available as MP3s on the net. Now there is a "fan edition" by "Rock against Racism-Records" from Eastern Europe (?) with the entire output of the band on 12inch and apparently the songs have even been remastered a bit, which reinforces the aggressive, raw character of the songs. There are probably 200 copies each in black and white and it was quite difficult and adventurous to get hold of them...this much is said...not only collectors should buy them!
