Re-issue of the Perkele classic "Stories From The Past" from 2004. Lyrically the songs were inter alia marked by the death of a close friend of Ron's who died during the recording session ("When You're Dead"). With the 14 songs on the album (again entirely in English), Perkele are approaching their zenith, the band has meanwhile created its own style and has played a leading role in the global skinhead / streetpunk charts. Their unique "Rebel Rock'n'Roll" mixture of catchy songwriting, famous bar singalongs and the right melodies have now matured into the unmistakable Perkele trademark. Despite all thematic melancholy, "Stories From The Past" is musically extremely light-footed and carefree, the sharp-edged, brittle guitar sound is reminiscent of various British cult combos from the late seventies (including the early The Jam).
