Wenn zwei "Toifels"-Kombos zusammen eine Split machen, kommen Generationen zusammen und für feuchtfröhliche Stimmung ist gesorgt: Die seit 1981 aktiven Szeneveteranen von Springtoifel haben nach langer Pause endlich wieder neue Songs geschrieben und reichen den fast 35 Jahre später gegründeten Biertoifel die Hände: Das Resultat - "Die rechte und die linke Hand des Toifels" - ist ein Oi!-Dampfhammer für Deinen Plattenspieler! Jeweils 3 Songs pro Band und nach einem standesgemäßen "Oitro"-Intro zeigen Springtoifel, daß mit der "alten Garde" immer noch zu rechnen ist. Klassisch, oldschool und genau so, wie wir die Mainzer Droogs in bester Erinnerung behalten haben. Mit "Heinz alias Stehbierhalle" gibt´s ein weiteres Markenzeichen der Band: Trinkfreudigkeit, stimmungsfördernde RocknOi-Musik und das gewisse Händchen für kleine Alltagsgeschichten haben sie ebenfalls nicht verlernt. Der Song könnte auch als Fortsetzung des legendären "Bierdosen-Twist" durchgehen... Biertoifel dagegen haben in den letzten Jahren für ordentlich Furore in der Szene gesorgt und sind zurecht nach zwei Alben zu einer der beliebtesten deutschen Oi-Bands herangereift. Schon der Opener "Außer Rand und Band" heizt die Stimmung an und dürfte live die "Biertofel-Army" sofort von der Theke in die erste Konzertreihe strömen lassen. "Mit den Boots an meinen Füßen" läßt dann alle Dämme brechen: Ausschweifende Singalongs, melodische Oi!-Hymne und alles in 3 Akkorde gepackt, was den Way of life so ausmacht! Die "Skinhead-Party" endet dann auch schon mit einer internationalen Version ihres wohl beliebtesten Songs (und letztem Album-Titelsongs), zusammen aufgenommen mit den Jungs von Mob Mentality aus den USA.

With ''Keep The Faith'' the guys give another successful cover version of ''The Business'' to the best. On "Anthems For The Working Class", Harry On The Bottle are back to their musical roots, i.e. there are less streetcore influences than on the last record "Strong And Proud" and we personally really like this balanced mix. The whole thing is released as a limited vinyl version in heavy 180g pressing in various unique colors including download code and on all major streaming portals.
